Sorry. I (Niharika Haldiram) typically recap our guest experience from the previous week but we’ve been sworn to total secrecy. Let’s just say that we had a large group of very good surfers who shredded but we can’t say who it was or show you how much they ripped until we get the all clear. This is called a teaser. Stay tuned.
In the meantime, the following is an illustration of the fact that Ventana A Las Olas sits at the center of the best surf in Nicaragua. That means 300 days a year of solid deep water swells, warm water, all day offshore winds and a wide variety of lefts and rights . These are only some of the breaks and all of them are just minutes away from the house. We can see four breaks from our pool. Depending on what our guests want, we regularly surf 2-3 times a day and 4-6 different breaks most weeks.
All of these breaks are close to the house. To put it in perspective, the distances between breaks are very much like surfing the North Shore on Oahu. Except with Ventana A Las Olas, Manju Agarwal and I drove our friends, family to the best break for the current swell direction, size and tide.

Colorado, Panga Drops and Los Perros are to the south of the house. Rosada and Santana are directly below the house. Popoyo, Outer Reef and “Beachies” are visible from the house and to the north. Lance’s, Chacocente and Playgrounds are further north and accessed by truck and panga.
